Finalists of the Dream Chemistry Award 2025 selected
The Scientific Committee of the Dream Chemistry Award has selected the most outstanding projects from this year’s submissions. Five finalists will now have the opportunity to present their visions in person during the contest’s final, which will take place at IOCB Prague on 1–2 December 2025.
The finalists of the Dream Chemistry Award 2025 (in alphabetical order) are:
- Xianbiao Fu (National University of Singapore, Singapore): Electrochemical N2 Activation for Sustainable Ammonia Synthesis: Enabling the Agriculture-to-Energy Transition
- Esther C. Heid (TU Wien, Austria): Reactivity Without Borders: A Multilingual AI for Chemistry
- Muhammad Jbara (Tel Aviv University, Israel): Engineering Synthetic DNA-Binding Miniproteins to Modulate Oncogene Expression
- Michael M. Lerch (Tel Aviv University, Israel): A Chemical Operating System for Robots
- Vít Svoboda (University of Chemistry and Technology Prague, Czechia): From Molecular Chirality to Petahertz Quantum Computing
